Places may be funded by the Students Awards Agency for Scotland in September for EU students

Full-time courses have SAAS funding for Scottish and EU students

(SAAS funding does not apply to February starts)

Admission requirements are in red. A lower qualification may be accepted with relevant experience.

Non-UK students can check the equivalence of their qualifications here.

All courses can be taken in part-time mode over 2.5 or 3 years. SAAS funding only applies to full-time students.

 

MSc Applied Informatics -
 
 
MSc Business Information Technology - requires an honours degree including some IT and/or business content

 

MSc Advanced Security and Digital Forensics requires an honours degree with at least 50% computing content

 

MSc Information Systems Development - requires an honours degree in any subject except computing

MSc Enterprise Web Development (previously called Interactive Technologies for E-Commerce) - requires an honours degree in any subject except computing

 

 
 

MSc Information Systems for Financial Services - requires an honours degree in any subject except computing or finance

 
 
 
MSc Interactive Systems: User Experience (previously called Multimedia and Interactive Systems) - requires an honours degree in any subject

 

 
 
MSc Software Technology for the Web - requires an honours degree in any subject
 
 
 
MSc Advanced Networking - requires an honours degree in computing or electronics with some networking subjects included

 

 
 
MSc Advanced Software Engineering - requires an honours degree in computing with OO programming and OO design

 

 
MSc Interactive Systems: Usability - requires an honours degree in any subject, including arts, and especially design and psychology.
